Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT)

Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) is an integrated treatment approach that combines medication, counseling, and behavioral therapies to treat substance use disorders.

Group Therapy

Group Therapy is therapy that is conducted in a group setting consisting of at least 6 to 15 individuals. Research has shown that Group Therapy is extremely effective for individuals struggling with substance abuse and other co-occurring mental health challenges. This style of Therapy is the most repetitive treatment modality that takes place in Restoration House Treatment Program.

Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy is an interpersonal relationship between the client and the therapist. The therapist helps the client understand internal struggles, family system roles, and ways of coping with stressful situations and relational issues. Restoration House has Master Level Therapists that specialized in treating Substance Use Disorders, as well as Mental Health Disorders.

Nature Therapy

Nature therapy, also called Ecotherapy, is when individuals experience the beauty of nature and its accompanying healing properities found in its ecosystem. When utilized in the overall recovery process, client’s have a better chance for long term sobriety, as opposed to its absence.

Co-occurring Disorders Treatment

When individuals live with both substance use problems and ill-mental health, medical professionals term this as having co-occurring disorders. Some would also say these individuals have a “dual-diagnosis.”  An example of this would be someone living with alcoholism and having frequent issues with anxiety. Group Therapy is a great way to help these individuals gain the insight and tools to live a more self determined and successful life. Some clients may even benefit from seeing a provider to begin medication assistant treatment alongside of therapy. There is always hope to those who need change.

TeleTherapy and Telemedicine

We embrace the power of technology to extend our evidence-based treatment programs beyond physical boundaries through TeleTherapy and Telemedicine services. These offerings make our compassionate care accessible to clients in the Greater Smoky Mountain communities and beyond, providing hope and healing to those struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Family Systems
Therapy

Family therapy is a form of treatment involving talk therapy among family members. Family Therapy primarily focuses on improving communication strategies, understanding present and past conflicts, and learning the relational tools and family system roles to be able to understand how chemical dependency and addiction has affected the family unit. Throughout the therapeutic process, various counseling techniques will be utilized to assist in the overall improvement of relationships among family members. It can also help in educating family members affected by addiction who struggle to understand family members living with substance use disorders and accompanying mental health or behavioral conditions. Many insurance companies in our network cover family therapy as part of the treatment plan.

Residential Sober Living with 24 Hour Clinician Support

Residential Sober Living, with 24 hour clinician support, offers greater accountability to individuals who are at imminent risk for relapse and continued drug and alcohol abuse. When addiction takes over an individual’s life, the first steps of sobriety will need to be taken in a therapeutic environment that offers a higher level of care and treatment.

Vocational Rehabilitation

Vocational Rehabilitation is a specialized program designed to help individuals overcome barriers to employment resulting from addiction or other challenges. It aims to provide the necessary support, guidance, and resources to help clients develop new skills, find meaningful employment, and maintain long-term sobriety.
